Top 10 Christmas Toy for 2009: Build Imagination with Forts
MommyPicks.com, a leading online children’s bookstore, has assembled its free Top Christmas Toy List for 2009 which features not only its choices for the the Top 10 Toys for 2009 but also its selections of the Top 50 Toys for 2009. Here is one of the choices.
Remember when you were a kid trying to build a fort with your friends? Even if it was built with just some furniture and a blanket, it was anything you imagined it to be; a castle, a spaceship, or even a boat.
You can now share this experience with your kids through Crazy Forts, a construction set that comes with 44 sticks and 25 connector balls. You and your kids can build any shaped fort their little hearts desire; just throw a blanket over and it’s done! Having more than one Crazy Forts kit will make the fort even more astounding because more sticks means endless possibilities. Even you can get in with them and take part in their many adventures. Bring some books and flashlights along as story time in the fort can be quite magical.
Amazon.com features this review of the Crazy Forts Toy by a happy customer:
We first discovered this creative new toy when a friend from Canada sent us one, as it has become one of the top-selling (#2 in sales) toys there. My grandchildren (ages 9 through 12) were so delighted with it that I ordered another one when it became available here in the U.S., through Amazon, and they have spent endless hours constructing various configurations, with or without bedsheets for cover, playing inside the forts or crawling through the tunnels they make, curling up inside with a book, playing cards - in short, having a wonderful time in creative play, instead of watching endless hours of T.V. - This is an outstanding toy - I give it 5 stars!!
The Crazy Forts kit comes with instructions on how to build a house, igloo, or tunnel but this toy is a great way for your kids to use their imaginations to design any shape they can think of.
